| 586633 | 2007-08-31 15:40:00 | Hi Everybody, Is there a (simple) way of discovering, what, if any, ports may be being block by ones ISP ? Reason. On WinMX, I can see what's available, but I can never get a choice to download. As firewall (Comodo) is configured to accept & am not using a router (have cable) I figure it's port blocking! Any help resolving this issue gladly accepted. :mad: Regards. |

I found This (www.dyndns.com) about half way down the page - Port Blocking By ISP. Don't know if it will help or not. BTW - Whos your ISP ? someone may be able to check. BUT, WinMX, on average, has stuff at a higher bitrate (192K/bits), instead of Limewires average of 128. Sounds better, less junk files, less malware. So, the technology isn't that bad eh! ...When it works. Right now ...It doesn't !! :help: |
