586534 2007-08-31 03:55:00 Having just seen my trusty 17" CRT at the dump for $20, I figure its time to blow out for a nice 19" LCD.

I am looking for one with
< 8ms
about a Contrast Ratio 700:1
hopefuly dot .25mm or less

Especially good for graphics so needs good contrast and accurate color.

Willing to pay more for a good monitor.

586535 2007-08-31 06:59:00 The Samsung 931c is a 'true colour' professional 19", 2ms, 2000:1 contrast. 0.29 dot etc. Retails around $550.00-$575.00

They were used as the 'official monitor' of the world cyber games or something this year.

Computer lounge in Aucks have them and Ascent will have more stock Sept 4th.

Many of Dells 'reviews', they pay for. I don't think that monitor would be as good as the samsung 22 inch one you can get for around the same price.

Not quite sure why you asked for opinions though if you'd already made up your mind. :illogical
