| 586484 | 2007-08-31 00:52:00 | I need the sata drivers for a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V2065 notebook so that i can load xp. Can't seem to find them. The only thing i can find on the Fujitsu Siemens website is Intel® Matrix Storage Manager but thats 17mb's. Anyone know where i can get them from. Thanks. |

| 586485 | 2007-08-31 02:57:00 | The only thing I could find quickly was the RAID drivers, Intel (downloadcenter.intel.com) What happens when you try to install XP ? The CD should detect the drive and run through the setup ? |

| 586486 | 2007-08-31 03:11:00 | Thanks for reply. It says someting like it cant find/doest detect a hard drive. With the F6 installation, I've tried number 4 on the list but will try number 3 as well. I was getting an error when it was trying to install the number 3 drivers. It couldnt read a file. Will try number 4 drivers and get back with the error if it says it again. |

Try this - Place XP CD in Drive - Boot PC < if it doesn't boot from the CD look at screen when first start and there will be a key to press to select the CD drive to boot first Eg: F12 to enter boot menu Let it run through the writing on the bottom of the screen, The F6 etc will disappear after a few seconds ( touch Nothing) its now its loading all drivers required to setup windows, and should detect any HD's you have - This will take a few minutes but you will see all drivers loading. Press ENTER when prompted, then Press F8 to agree to the Licence - Follow onscreen instructions. Format it to NTFS Items you will also Need Legal XP Product Key Drivers Downloaded from the same site you found the 17Mb file Eg: Audio / graphic / LAN/ Modem / any others on the site. Install these after windows has loaded and rebooted Downloading Drivers - High Speed connection recommended other wise it will take ages. |

| 586491 | 2007-08-31 04:25:00 | Yep, it has vista and i'm trying to format and put xp on it. | lazydog (148) | ||
| 586492 | 2007-08-31 04:30:00 | Well thats not quite right Wainui. A mate when he brought an ASUS mobo, it wouldnt let him install XP, without the SATA drivers, and this was only for one hdd, and he's not using RAID. He had to connect a floppy at the time to fix it. It may depend on the mobo, whether it'll need SATA drivers, and not necessarily whether you're using RAID, or not. |

Any way I found This (downloadcenter.intel.com) From Intels download site - May or may not help, it says it's the part for F6 and its only 289Kb. Hope its of some help. Now all we need is a floppy, or I suspect it could be put on a USB device ? Not to sure about that though ??? :confused: |
