| 1419028 | 2016-04-13 03:49:00 | Just getting some very odd (and expensive) changes with Eset's pricing, especially with license increases, any other resellers noticed this? | wratterus (105) | ||
| 1419029 | 2016-04-13 04:47:00 | Downloaded the latest Price list and compared its all exactly the same, so I rang them :) In other words don't second guess go to the source. Heres the story -- All new and renewal licenses are exactly the same price, its only if you increase a current license. Basically they got the pricing wrong :horrified and have been under charging for increases. ( wont post the smart / Joking comment I made to the guy, but he laughed) :D How it works is if you have a 1 user license and increase it to 2, then you are charged half the price of a new license, it goes by the amount of licenses / price. If you have a 2 user and increase by 1 = 3 user then you get charged 1/3 of a new license If you have a 3 user and increase by 1 = 4 user then you get charged 1/4 of a new license. etc etc etc Any way you look at it, the more licenses you have the cheaper / License it is. |

Dunno about that :D :p ( ducks out the way ) LOL OK on the phone again --- Was told the pricing for an increase is the same if you get it 2 months or 10 months later. In the past it used to be prorated, but no more. |
