Why should anyone laugh at it??? + 1 Seems a bit contrived to me. The Lundys said they planned to sit down and write a letter to Santa Claus complaining of the "naughty elf" behind the prank. Better to thank Target. And get the kid to add his thanks. |

| 1413523 | 2015-12-29 02:13:00 | in the article: One possible theory is that a customer purchased a PS4 then returned the box to the store with the block of wood inside crafted perfectly to fit within the packaging pocketing the cash or credit as well as the real console. The packaging appeared to have not been tampered with, and Target is investigating the incident, according to Fox. You would think if someone returned an item they would check to make sure everything was there before refunding. About the only time you would expect it not to be checked is if the original shrink wrap was not broken in any way. |

| 1413524 | 2015-12-29 02:18:00 | I think that if I bought a present like that, my childhood instinct would take over and I would want to look at it. When I was a kid the flashest gadget we had was a radio/gram or a gramophone. We also used to play with wooden blocks. Still it is a mean trick to play on a modern kid. |

Or perhaps they just didn't figure that there may be some sort of seal. Still, it's risky business trying to returned an open package for some quick cash. High Stakes. |

| 1413526 | 2015-12-30 05:03:00 | Although wtf - the parents just wrapped it without looking at it first?! Most people wrap gifts without opening them first as far as I know... how else can they take it back if they don't want it, if you've opened it already? |
