One of the most controversial doctrines with little or no grounding in science is not a good source of expertise on the claims of these manufacturers. How about asking actual doctors or even better medical researchers. Lets not get into a debate about chiropractors though, that could be a whole thread on it's own. I'm just saying they needed more than the opinion of a Chiropractors. As far as neck pain goes, I think just getting the right thickness for your pillow is the only real factor there. Even then you may occasionally sleep in the wrong position and hurt your neck. You could sleep on a block of wood and not hurt your neck if you got the thickness right. Bloody uncomfortable though. |

Bloody uncomfortable though.In my case anyway I think there is more to it than that. I'll go for months on the same pillow but then have a bout of the shoulder pain and then it will come right again. I used to go to a Chiropractor and while he certainly used to fix the symptoms, I eventually realized I was being farmed and trained to go regularly whether I needed it or not. |
