2015-12-18 02:04:00 | D Just did a search for Frozen Shoulder: Apparently Arthritis and Frozen Shoulder are not related, so maybe you got the wrong answer if you went to the Dr. ] A new thing. As well as the arthritis. Not more arthritis is what I mean. Meaning another sore bit to add to the rest. makes it trickier cause of the rest, not too much left of me that isn't sore. If I was a car I'd take myself to the wreckers. Nope, don't know anyone with one. Oh well, I'll carry on with the cushion, doc said just do what works.

2015-12-18 02:17:00 | So can I deviate a bit? Anyone had experience with body pillows? I have arthritis in various bits and now there is a new thing - called frozen shoulder apparently.I don't know if they are still available but you used to able to get whole mattresses made of memory foam. I do recall them being ridiculously expensive but I suspect they are cheaper these days. Might be worth a look.

2015-12-18 18:34:00 | I have one of those cheap bamboo pillows as Wainui said they are very hard, possibly overfilled but that's how I like my pillow. The blurb on bamboo pillows says they are cooler in summer, so what do we all do with them? Cover them with pillowcases therefore nullifying there effectiveness in this department | gary67 (56) | |
2015-12-18 20:59:00 | Isn't the pillowcase the only bit of the pillows that contain any bamboo fiber at all? (and keeps you cool) The memory foam itself actually generates a lot of body heat, hence the necessity for the bamboo fiber in the pillowcase. IF it is actually bamboo fiber at all - a number of articles say they think it’s actually made of rayon, a heavily-processed fabric that is sometimes made from bamboo cellulose. Here's one example www.brightreviews.com and at least half the reviews from people that bought them are that they are crap

2015-12-18 23:54:00 | Well that doesn't say much for the Bambillo! It would be interesting to see the reactions to the feelmybamboopillow products. Completely depends on who you are talking to. For years we had normal pillows, and they went :yuck: within a month, and some were quite expensive. We then tried those husk Wheat pillows, they took a while to get used to, but were OK, but after about a year started to fail / need replacing. We then changed over to the bambillos after trying a cheap version the mother inlaw loaned us, The cheaper ones are different in feel. So far after almost 6 months usage, still as good as the day we brought them, and haven't had a better nights sleep in years. Don't wake up with a sore neck or headaches like we used to and even the Mrs, she sleeps right through the night now, instead of getting up several times. So saying they are no good, depends on who you talk to. Its the old story, a person can read as much as they want, but unless they actually try it themselves they honestly wouldn't know. Look through this entire thread, everyone who has had either versions have said they are good. I'd rather believe people here that we all know ( on here anyway) than some complete random posting on a site.

I've pretty well made up my mind to get one; it's now just a matter of deciding which brand. My main (and possibly unreasonable) reservation about the bambillo is the company it keeps. I detest all that "As seen on TV" stuff. They were selling them in Lynmall yesterday, along with Nutribullets and Shark cleaners etc. I listened to a bit of the spiel and it all sounded totally bogus. There was also a stand selling the feelmybamboopillow ones - just them + associated products like pillowcases and mattress toppers. Just all seemed a bit more genuine. I think I'm probably going to go with them. |

2015-12-19 01:44:00 | Does the feelmybamboopillow have a 30 day trial period ? If not and you don't like it you have just wasted your money. Then again you may find its perfectly fine, personally I & swmbo found those to hard (as gary mentioned in an earlier post #44) BUT even with the Bambillos, if you decide to return it before 30 days its meant to go back in the original packaging -- HA ! good luck with that-- You would need a vacuum pump of some kind to shrink it back down to fit in the box.

2015-12-19 01:53:00 | Does the feelmybamboopillow have a 30 day trial period ?Good question. Can't see any mention on the website. The other thing they do have is 3 sizes - standard, queen and king. I'd only need a standard, which would fit my pillowcases. Next time I'm in the Mall I'll check out the returns policy.
