The whole reason why I'm doing this is because XP-DEAD is what I have on this machine, and needless to say, it won't even go on line any more. So I reboot over to this copy of Puppy (here) or UBUNTU (a very old version of it) on another 32-bit 'puter that is also on line but w/o any Microsoft on it at all.) The 32-bit is the one on which I want to install XUBUNTU or UBUNTUSTUDIO. |

I got Zorin up-n-running on this older unit (32-bit) - and it's very nice . It seems to have everything a Windoze system should or could have but no silly price and swallowing one's pride . Anyway - I'll put it on wireless soon and see how it goes . So far, so good . I'll also test it's audio capacities later on . I was up until 03:30 this AM and I'm running on will and desire - because sleep never really happened last night . We're warming up nicely, so I've got fences to repair today since I can see the horses are in the back yard . For the 'technical requirement' of this side of F! - I'm getting some serious pop-ups right now - can I use WOT and AdBlock on this? I also notice that there's no spellchucker here . I'll have to imnvestigsate that as I have *** and hit a lot of the wrong keys . :waughh: |

| 1418903 | 2016-04-11 19:34:00 | If you are using Firefox then you can add the usual addons no problem. On my Mint laptop I have both Ublock origin adblocker and NZ English dictionary installed. However this won't help you as the US dictionary has so many words with letters missing. |
