| 1418808 | 2016-04-09 20:12:00 | I all of a sudden have a programme called RegRun that wishes to install itself on my computer. Where it came from is anybody’s guess, and whilst Google comes up with nothing sinister about it, I don’t want it installed. However, whilst I tell it I don’t want it, the Nag Screen is back again next start up. Sooooo, firstly, has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it, and secondly where did it come from? It may be a good programme, but it is only a 30 day trial and I don’t like this sort of marketing, so that company’s out. All help appreciated. :thanks 7086 |

I know Adobe have been guilty of trying to con you into installing McAfee in the past but this time it just updated . Hmmmm . That win32 . Regrun looks suspicious but RegRun itself appears to be a genuine programme . :confused: Searching for win32 . regrun draws a blank but then it's not installed I guess . I think I'll just wait and see if anyone else can throw further light on the matter . :thanks |

Cheers, KK Yes it could well be, but I'm leaning more towards THIS (download.cnet.com) Either way I don't want them and seeing each or either are uninvited I just want rid of the Nag Screen shown in Post #1. | 1418814 | 2016-04-11 20:13:00 | Problem solved. :) The problem was I have had a programme called UnHackMe for ages along with a lifetime license. However, UnHackMe has been incorporated in this new programme RegRun so the Nag Screen was courtesy of UnHackMe. And the good news is that the lifetime license for UnHackMe was to be replaced with a 30 day trial of RegRun. Enter Revo Uninstaller and problem solved! :) |
