| 1413598 | 2015-12-31 05:20:00 | I have discovered that in Android 4.2.2 settings if I tap on "used space" in device storage settings, it displays folders and files (youtube vids) under pictures, videos. But I have stored these on the sd card. So wonder why they display under used space - which I thought is for the device only (Galaxy Trend phone). I investigated storage since downloaded some new apps displayed insufficient storage for installation or similar. If I unmount the sd card (and leave it in) the "used space" (device) file size decreases significantly and the folders/videos do not display under used space- proof that the sd files are somehow/possibly stored within used space. Yet sd storage shows available space (less than total SD space as expected), indicating that indeed those same folders/files are on the sd card. Unless its some sort of shared partition setup. Also miscellaneous files size increases a bit when SD unmounted. Maybe try it on your mobile if you have folders/files on sd... |
