| 1413445 | 2015-12-27 01:36:00 | www.stuff.co.nz There are two problems here, first they are in the worst part of Hamilton. Fairfield is one of the two roughest areas here. What Idiot decided that was a good place for them. When I bought my house the real estate agent who was ex police skipped that whole section of the book and just said "you don't want to live there". Second Auckland is in no way safer than Hamilton, it's just bigger. I doubt they want to move there for safety, just an excuse to move to our only largish (by international standards) city. Odds are if they get relocated to Auckland some bright spark will choose an equally rough area of the city. Give them some help relocating to a better suburb and leave it at that I say, if they want to move cities that's on them. I don't think we should foot the bill for too much of it either, but some assistance seems reasonable. |

A White would be set upon and possibly killed if stupid enough to walk around Otara and most area of Manurewa at night. Things do change I bought a house in Blenheim "across the railway tracks" and one street over from the bikie HQ in Lucas Street. Also the neigbour was absolutely crazy, I mean batsh** crazy. House just completed but person in it had enough and moved to Ch Ch. Got the place at ridiculous price well a few months bikies moved out to Grovetown and the neigbour was committed to a Cherry farm. Place zoomed up in value. You don't need to be white to be killed, i recall a young island man was killed by walking through Otara shopping centre. And the Tongan - samoan beheading. As for Manurewa, there were street attacks/stabbings a few years back. I drive through some nights to pick up daughter at work from McDonalds 'rewa shopping centre.. The area is now loaded with indians walking along the paths, and many of their eat out shops and liquor outlets. They have built a massive temple on the main road in. They seem to pray night and day there. They seem largely passive...and so friendly at their shops... They outnumber the young folk hanging around the small bars/clubs, and street walkers - kind of reversed from a few years ago. |

I did not believe him, It is Rosario, their third largest city 1.3 million people. I knew Mexico and Colombia have a lot of gang/drug murders, but I thought Argrentina was relatvily peaceful I think we have about 50 murders a year in the whole of NZ. I looked up some stats and Argentina's murder rate is 5 and ours is 1.0. Australia's is 1.1 |
