| 1413066 | 2015-12-17 00:12:00 | Just paid $1.36/L for 91 in Otara The pump price was $1.499/L - low enough and about par today for South Auckland pump prices - and combined with a discount on the Caltex AA Smartfuel scheme that gave me a net $1.36/L. No complaints as I was almost running on empty, and filled up at that price. Pity we can't count on that price year round :D |

Back home n Godzone, we're talking about costs that impact us where it hurts - in the wallets of those in West Auckland, Orara, or the Mainland; not visitors to Oz . Today's prices were triggered by Gull introducing a one day special price . Immediately countered by Caltex with an almost identical price . In south Auckland, at least . P . S . I have it on the reliable authority of my favourite vstation, the C*lt*x pricing runs until midday tomorrow :) |

In south Auckland, at least. Yeah....In Swanson Rd there is a BP, Gull and Mobil. Gull started, the other 2 copied so they were all $1.59. Son tried to fill up at the other one - $1.53 - last night but the queue was up the road so he came round to the Mobil on Swanson Rd instead..... |
