| 1413036 | 2015-12-16 02:45:00 | Hi All Two days ago I noticed that our local mobile transmitter was down. Then I thought this can happen to anyone. Yesterday I called Spark and been told there is some maintenance between 10am and 3pm. No reception after that. Called this morning again, they apologised and said that they could not tell me when the issue is resolved. I asked them if they could send a text when things are up and running. Hmmm... no text yet. To be honest I do not expect any text from Spark soon. It would not be such a problem in other areas for other people. Unfortunately I'm "stuck" in my office, with one mobile tower, and need to direct contractors on mobile. A good professional service would be if they could switch to a competitor's aerial temporarily till things are up running. Any of us pros, if we can't attend some work, ask another pro colleague to attend? Simple:) Disappointing to say the least.(end of rant):annoyed: haha, not even able to spell the title correctly with my frustration |

An outage of more than a few hours is very rare. If your business relies on you having coverage it would be wise for you to have a backup, a cheap prepay vodafone phone or SIM for example. Or you could consider working from another location temporarily. While I agree the service provider should do their best to not have service outages that's just simply not always possible. |

| 1413044 | 2015-12-19 17:31:00 | After 2 1/2 days Spark managed to fix or upgrade. They were apologetic and pointed me to a scheduled announcement for the first day from 9 to 3 or something like that. All good and working now. | notechyet (4479) | ||
