Hi garrulo Welcome to PressF1- they can block you, and also see you when on line if you are visable. In the settings of MSN you can make yourself invisable.

They can chat to you beause they have blocked you, not the other way around.

588421 2007-09-06 02:48:00 thanks wainuitech, but i know she does not have me on her contact list and also has me blocked. how does she know when to become available (when i'm on line) or do you think she's just randomly allowing all to see her so i can initiate conversation ?
thanks.

It could be that she is just signing-in in "offline mode". Which means when you sign in you can see and talk to everyone on your list, but they can't see you.

588423 2007-09-06 03:05:00 thanks Jams, i know i'm not in her contact list because a have a delete option when rt clicking her name in my allow list, therefore i'm not a visible contact on her list, but jet she finds out when I'm on. I'm also wondering why we go without chat unless I initiate conversation.
Does any of this make sense ?

mate that just doesnt' add up......anyone has that 'delete' option in their own list it's irrelevant what's on the other persons list.......just cause you delete em off your list doesn't mean you are deleted off their list.........or vice versa

If you even IM'd or e-mailed her and she returned with a reply..then you most certainly ARE on her contacts list..it's automatic.
