Do you use Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook? Do you keep your “My Documents” & music/ DVD's on your “C” drive? Have you cleared out your Temporary Internet Files & your Temp folder? Have you emptied your Recycle Bin? (Before you do that, just check & make sure there is northing in there that was deleted by error.) ADD / Remove programs. which program can i remove safely to free Disk C? J2SE runtime I think you can uninstall this (Windows comes with Java, so you don’t need it installed) iTunes Do you use this? 588890	2007-09-08 00:11:00	Ummmmmm lets see . . . . . . get a bigger hard drive!!!!! I'm actually quite surprised no-one suggest a new hard drive . Have you every thought that malo may have a big hard drive? Like a 120 GB HDD etc…, which is full of Windows & other programs crap that they install Also have you thought that malo may not be able to afford a new hard drive? Or that ever time malo runs out of disk space that malo goes out & buy a new one? What malo needs to do is find out where all his/her disk space has gone like it could have all gone to his/her My Documents or where every he/she keeps there music etc… & burn/ backup it up to DVD/ CD .	stu161204 (123)
588891	2007-09-08 00:12:00	I think you can uninstall this (Windows comes with Java, so you don’t need it installed) Ah 1/2 true, but it was stopped (by Sun), which is why SP1a came out. And its not in SP2, if you've slipstreamed SP2 on CD.	Speedy Gonzales (78)
588892	2007-09-08 01:04:00	One way to get instant space is to reduce the system restore folder size, usually it reserves 12% of your hard drive for restore points. Right click on "My Computer" Properties / System Restore Tab Move the Slider from "Max to Min" - Click Apply/OK On My PC it reduces the space from 9157Mb down to 200Mb. Still allows for restore points, just not as many.	wainuitech (129)
