2007-09-06 06:33:00 | If anyone sees any reviews on the new Nano, tell me, it's hard to find any atm, all I keep finding is 2nd gen ones. I'd love to have the touch, but I think without decent wi-fi, the price tag isn't worth it.

2007-09-06 06:38:00 | Will keep an eye out, I've already heard Harvey Normans advertising 10% off if you pre-order...I wonder when they get them? But I'd rather get free engraving than 10% off. And on top of that, I'd rather have a nicer designed ipod. | --Wolf-- (128) | |
2007-09-06 06:40:00 | Will the wi-fi allow transmission of audio & or video to say one of those iPod dock speaker thingies without you having to actually dock the ipod into the unit? | CYaBro (73) | |

You will possibly find them cheaper at either Noel Leemings or Magnum Mac stores as i think Harvey Normans tends to put a bit of a premium on some of their stuff. | winmacguy (3367) | ||
2007-09-06 06:42:00 | This should answer your question iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store With iPod touch, you can discover new music anywhere. Built-in wireless capability gives you access to the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store, where you can buy songs with a tap. Browse New Releases, What’s Hot, and Just Added lists. Or find exactly what you’re looking for with a quick search. Tap a song to preview it or tap Buy to purchase it. From anywhere.

2007-09-06 06:46:00 | Wasn't the wi-fi used for watching things on Youtube as well? Well, I'll go in there on Saturday and check one out, then most likely order one from the Apple NZ store next week. I just hope they don't turn out as bad as they seem right now. In the end, I don't care how it looks, as long as it works good and has good sound (with my CX100 headphones) and is cheap enough. I just hope they didn't add too many un-needed features to drag the overall performance of it down, I doubt I'll have many videos/pictures on it.

2007-09-06 06:49:00 | The YouTube stuff was from the standard web browsing feature on the iPhone via EDGE or Wifi (if your in a wifi zone). So I think that the new iPod touch has that. Safari With Apple’s Safari browser built in, iPod touch is the only iPod that gives you wireless access to the web, everywhere you go. See websites the way they were designed to be seen. Sync your bookmarks or add a few as you go. Search the web using the touchscreen keyboard. Zoom in and out by tapping the multi-touch display.

2007-09-06 06:50:00 | Nah, I don't think it has anything to do with A&T (i think thats it) which means none of that EDGE stuff. | --Wolf-- (128) | |
2007-09-06 06:57:00 | That would be AT&T (American Telephone & Telegraph) I believe the iPhone is due to be 3G compatible either later this year or sometime next year- but it is the EDGE network that although not as fast has a wider coverage area which is why Apple went with it. Also the 3G networks cause more of a drain on the battery when used compared to the EDGE at this stage - from what I have read about it.
