| 588286 | 2007-09-05 10:36:00 | Run stress cpu or Orthos that will maybe bring it to a crawl and trigger any fault. I say shoot the Hyena. Another way to test PSU is boot the machine to BIOS screen and leave it on. Recent Raidmax p/s I had would fail after running for 10 mns even in the bios. |

| 588287 | 2007-09-05 10:43:00 | Your PSU is underpowered at best, and on top of that it's a terrible brand. Even if it's not faulty, it probably can't handle to load. You can get something second hand and better from Trade Me for well under $50. Perhaps this (www.trademe.co.nz) if you're really short of cash. Also, update your motherboard and video drivers. Download the motherboard ones off the VIA website (Hyperion Pro or 4-in-1), and the graphics ones off the ATI site. |
