589997 2007-09-10 10:59:00 Hello all,

I am wanting to purchase a PCMCIA wifi card which uses an Atheros chipset. I tried DSE, but without any luck. Can anyone point me to a store in NZ which stocks them?

Thanks..

589998 2007-09-10 11:16:00 Here (madkiwihosting.co.nz). I am not necessarily endorsing this retailer, you understand.

But if they don't have it in stock, see Pricespy.

589999 2007-09-10 13:27:00 Just out of curiosity, why are you wanting this specific chipset? Are you after good Linux support? (The Atheros chipset has had very good Linux drivers for quite some time - it's one of the few chipsets that actually has decent support) Erayd (23)
590000 2007-09-10 21:37:00 It looks like Cameo adapters use this chipset (well the PCI card does).

I think the USB 2 adapters I've got here use this chipset too (Zydas made them).
