| 589929 | 2007-09-10 08:19:00 | Hi team was trying to upload to youtube and noticed nothing would actually upload at all. would start at 2% and then stay there. the networking icon details showed nothing was being transferred. the unusual thing is that the modem reports 500+kb/s upstream but when i try to do a bandwidth test at nzdsl.co.nz. the download test is fine but the upload hangs to the point i cant be bothered waiting.. very fustrating! running win xp pro |

| 589932 | 2007-09-10 09:39:00 | i have an adsl modem going into a wireless/wired router, i bypassed the router and found i could upload again. i had some port forward rules in the NAT section of the router (SMC brand) so took those out and thought this might make a difference but same result. im stumped! :( |

| 589935 | 2007-09-10 10:54:00 | hi beeswax, just the normal windows firewall, but running avast anti virus. same thing with the windows firewall on and off. heyas stu. ISP is Ihug. from modem to pc, i can upload sweet. but with modem going into router thats when i cant upload, have no rules set also, so the broadband signal should just go right through?? |
