| 589680 | 2007-09-09 23:16:00 | Anyone have any opinions about SugarCRM vs BCM for Outlook2003 or Outlook 2007? As I understand both are freebies, BCM being a free add-on if you already have Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007. SugarCRM community edition is an open source package. BCM was meant to be a standalone app, but MS has made available a database tool to host the DB on a server to be shared by multiple Outlook clients ... www.microsoft.com This user only has very basic requirements, beyond a simple contact database, they want the ability to automatically file emails against contacts, and some custom data fields, potentially multi-level custom fields. SugarCRM looks very good but I haven't got the time to digest all the information at this stage, would be nice if someone can comment on these packages? |
