2007-09-09 09:30:00 | It was working yesterday and then today it stopped working. The only thing i did that would of effected it was OC the cpu a bit, but its was only by 2 MHz (just to see if I could). Any ideas why its not working? Also it's just my computer. My brothers one works fine and the one in the lounge works fine, it's just my one. | kathman (12801) | |
2007-09-09 09:40:00 | Welcome to PressF1 Kathman - did you try un Over clocking the CPU and return it to how it was ? - Over CLocking can sometimes have adverse effects on other components. | wainuitech (129) | |

2007-09-09 21:26:00 | Any other ideas? You can try resetting the MB back to its default settings, if that doesn't work then the wireless aaptor may ( and I'm guessing) have some how got damaged, espically if its not even searching any more - have you tried a manual search for available networks or do you mean the auto search is not looking? One thing you can try also is completely remove the drivers, remove the adaptor and put it back in as if it was the first time and see if it redetects it, sometimes just reinstalling drivers over the old ones wont do any thing.

2007-09-10 02:08:00 | How do I manually search for it? I'll give uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers a try. I switched the wifi into a different pci slot and its acting weirder. Every time I start it up it says "Found new hardware", then it asks me to put the disk in, so I do it, and then after it says "There was a problem installing your new software". | kathman (12801) | |
2007-09-10 02:28:00 | If you can post the exact name and Model of PCI adaptor I'll try to locate the drivers. That message could mean wrong drivers - or hardware problem. Drivers are easier to sort out first. | wainuitech (129) | |
