for XP SP2, you just need SP2. no need to download previous ones first.

589425 2007-09-19 07:54:00 Ok, I'll go and get the driver for the wireless card :)

Yep, it seems to be trying to use an old dial-up connection, but it was mainly trying to use the broadband one.

Ok, I'll just get SP2, put it on a USB device from the new computer and then use it in the old one after I've downloaded it from Microsoft.

589426 2007-09-20 07:20:00 i've been having somr problems lately relating to hardware of course.

Whenever I run PC Doc Pro 3.5 and delete all of the file associations, all of my .mp3 files and other music files become "winamp.file". Also, I cannot seem to get the computer to recognise my MP4 player whenever I plug it in and I have installed all of the application files.

I think all of these problems shou;ld be resolved after I install SP2, which I've downloaded and put on a USB Drive.
