The "Removable" box should be the only one checked and you assign your drive letter at the bottom. Close everything and restart and it'll show up in My Computer". I vaguely remember a similar problem caused by the OS not logging the drive as removable. Good luck! |

Good luck!IT WORKED! :D Just had a very excited and grateful person on the phone telling me the advice above worked and now they can see their external hard drive and access it!! Thanks very much for that linw . :) Have no idea why Ubuntu took a dislike to the drive as well, but who cares now . :p |
