590214 2007-09-12 11:26:00 There's only one ISP you need:- Xnet!
What sort of speeds are you getting with Xnet?
Cos i am seriously wanting to change from Xtra, but have also heard that Orcon is slowing down a fair bit because so many people are changing from Xtra to Orcon.
Hmmmm, wat the hell do i do?

590221 2007-09-13 21:40:00 How much do you pay for your cable?

LightSpeed 80G

80G of monthly traffic
10 Mbps downstream / 2 Mbps upstream
Choose your ISP - paradise.net or clear.net - I got paradise, have for years
Free helpdesk support - if you can get through to them:annoyed:

$139.95 / Month

But I got the package deal, that has discounts, TV, two phone lines + a couple of exta programs added in.
Average monthly bill from Telstra is $280 - $290.00 But that also includes usually around $100 in Toll calls ( business call) So around the $170 range.

590223 2007-09-14 04:45:00 Well, I think anything over $100 is a bit of a rip, especially in NZ if you're indenting to game.

When will the prices for cable drop? Or will ADSL2 be better/the new thing? I don't know anything about ADSL2, but I have always known cable owns.
