| 590032 | 2007-09-11 07:09:00 | wainuitech I totally agree with you in every respect. I too used to use Norton until it kept telling me that "Your computer is infected!" but didn't do anything about it. Installed NOD32, removed trojans, computer ran a LOT faster and have been happy ever since. Big John As a computer user, you should be concerned about the crap you have on your computer. If it does take an extra 2 minutes to boot up, or uses and extra 5% of the CPU as a responsible computer user you/all of us should rectify this. Most problems on computers are caused by people being to add-hock about the whole thing and, who cares!?! A little optimizing never went a-miss! |

Most problems on computers are caused by people being to add-hock about the whole thing and, who cares!?! A little optimizing never went a-miss! I do know what I am doing as I have been using a PC since before you were probably born. I don't reall care if it takes 2 minutes to boot my PC up as it only ever gets done once a day. I NIS ony uses CPU when it is scanning and if you want you can put it in background mode so that it uses less but then every IS and AV uses CPU time. And I certainly didn't say anything about me having problems and my PC is optimised. I can play FSX with everything turned right up and NIS installed and still get 30fps all the time even around the big cities. Anyway enough of this BS. You have your opinion I have mine. I was just trying to show that there are some out there (in fact there must be heaps because they are still in bussiness and usuall #1) that do in fact use Nortons. No more from me on this. You can have the last say if u wish. |

| 590035 | 2007-09-12 00:13:00 | Norton is now seen as crap to most people - so what if they have deals to have it pre-installed, more and more people get rid of it as soon as they get their new comp, and get an antivirus that runs on an "average Joe Blog's" system - like nod32 for instance | bevy121 (117) | ||
