| 590725 | 2007-09-13 02:35:00 | I have my resolution set at: 1027 x 768, the DPI is at 96 yet I cannot see some of the info cards that I get up on the screen. When I goto B's Gold, for instance, the settings card is partially cut off and I cannot see the rest of the settings. I cannot scroll or expand the card and there's no draw bars either on top of the side to roll around in the card to see the stuff I can't. Any ideas? Here's a screenshot of my mouse settings card: www.imagef1.net.nz |

| 590726 | 2007-09-13 02:50:00 | The only thing that I could think that it is, is if you have increased the font size of your display. But this would increase the font size of your icons as well. No too sure...? |

No too sure...? There are two separate settings: Large Fonts Large Icons You can have either without needing both. |

I miss a lot of info on those cards when I cannot see the whole thing . . . is there anyone else with an idea? Do you think this is a Windows Explorer setting or Firefox or what? I gotta bump this . . . . |

| 590731 | 2007-09-14 01:43:00 | OK SJ, here goes.... If your mouse properties window is looking like that, it is not a Firefox setting. As PCtek said, there two different settings in Windows and you really need to play with them as follows: Control panel>Display>settings tab> advanced button... change DPI settings. 96DPI is 'normal'. This is a global setting and should change the size of all text in Windows. (it can also be changed through 'accessibility options' in control panel if you have it set up) Other way is: Control panel>Display>appearance tab>advanced button... this brings up a window with 'message boxes' and drop down menus for fonts etc. You can click on parts of the message box... ie click on the text that says 'message box' or 'active window' and you will see that the fonts and sizes change in the combo box... you can then choose the size of fonts etc. The third way (that we in the Zen Corporation call the 'Middle Way') is to screw with the screen resolution... this is also a global change :) Firefox you can change the fonts you use by tools>options> content tab then play with fonts and colours. You can change icon sizes in Windows as well... Control panel>display>appearance tab>effects button... tick/untick 'use large icons' If SJ does not respond (possibly because he can no longer read anything on his screen) could someone please advise if the question is resolved and therefore in the fullness of time the thread will be able to be tagged appropriately for future reference of the general populace of PF1  |

I went all the way thru the NVidia advanced settings too . . but still no good . Those number are very confusing . . . and let me tell anyone who messes with them to write down the original settings or you will have a really hard time resetting them . There is no "RETURN TO DEFAULT" button! I have somehow returned to semi-default settings now . . but still not right . I might fire off a question to Logitec about this . . hopefully I can use the F1 Upload area for the screenshot . STILL NOT RESOLVED |

| 590733 | 2007-09-14 20:38:00 | PS: I finally got the screen/icons/etc back to normal, but that card and cards like it are still cut off or not wide enough to use or read. Nothing seemed to make a difference so I'm gonna try to e-mail Logitech and see what they say...after all it's their card. |

| 590734 | 2007-09-15 07:42:00 | STILL NOT RESOLVED! Plese do not signify this thread closed . The call to Logitech was a blow out after 1 hr 44 minutes on hold (speakerphone . . I could not hold a headset that long) . . . and I think they closed shop and went home leaving me on hold for the next que in the morning . :yuck: . . . but I had a nice nap . Gack! Anyway . . . I still don't have an answer or resolution for this problem . . anyone else want to stab at it? |
