| 590196 | 2007-09-12 00:37:00 | Is that all :rolleyes: - Jokeing - not to bad - Just did a test from This Site (http://www.speedtest.net/) with the following results 1st test Download 7531kb/s Upload 1123 kb/s 2nd Run Download 7688 Upload 1131 kb/s Same test from Slingshot: Last Result: Download Speed: 7204 kbps (900.5 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 1612 kbps (201.5 KB/sec transfer rate) Latency: 56 ms Try the site and see if you get a different score, its interesting how some sites report differently. I'm on Telstra cable. Now if only the Actual speeds related in actual downloads in the "real world" Makes me wonder just how accurate the results from various tests are:confused: WOWWW lets try and break the speed tester, almost topped it, well into the red line LOL:lol: Last Result: Download Speed: 8876 kbps (1109.5 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 1404 kbps (175.5 KB/sec transfer rate) Latency: 21 ms YEAHHHHHHHH topped it LOL Last Result: Download Speed: 11894 kbps (1486.8 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 1549 kbps (193.6 KB/sec transfer rate) Latency: 21 ms |

The times/speed is all over the place, depending on internet traffic / time of day. Lots of thing to consider, sometimes its faster than others. But never as fast as that Slingshot test - I wish :waughh: |
