591094 2007-09-14 05:03:00 Have VNC on some Macs but they now keep dropping the connection as soon as I try to log in. Sometimes it works after a restart but not always. Normally can't get access. And before someone asks Yes I am using the correct password. Macs are still something I am learning as issues come along. I have had success with Vine Server on a Mac so thought if I could uninstall the original VNC and install Vine then this may fix the problem. I have tried the built in VNC but this doesn't help. I assume two programs trying to do the same thing will conflict.

Whats the path to delete VNC or does someone now why the connection is being dropped. I can't remember the error code but next time on site will check and post.

OSX 10.4.* by memory.

591096 2007-09-14 06:15:00 Sounds like the 10.4.11 update might help you out a bit, due out from Apple soon. winmacguy (3367)
591097 2007-09-14 12:37:00 Have a read of the Vine Forum (www.redstonesoftware.com). Including the FAQ (www.redstonesoftware.com) which has something about failed authentication problems. gibler (49)

Plod can't find the application. Whats the path to the app or a likely place to look. Have had a look and can't find it.
