592021 2007-09-17 23:04:00 what i mean by "clean copy"is that it does not have all the useless stuff that are bundles with the normal xp this is smaller adnd doesnt include the things that are not needed.

So you've slipstreamed an installation disk for XP. That may be what's causing your problem. Try installing with the full copy of XP.

i already tried with the full copy of xp two times..!It's possible to find any number of VC tests / benchmarks with google; which is the exact one you are using? If you don't know the name, can you give us a link?

592024 2007-09-18 02:17:00 The common one is actually called 'video card stability test'

have you got enough power to the video card? If it's got an extra power connector is that plugged in?

Is your PSU good enough

592027 2007-09-18 07:11:00 so can you give me any advice? should i return the motherboard adn get a new one or what can i really do right now> chuanwai (12518)
592028 2007-09-18 07:37:00 Strip it down as basic as you can get, anything not essential for booting take it out.

1 stick ram, 1 hard drive

reset your BIOS to defaults

see if windows is stable then

592029 2007-09-18 09:47:00 My policy is always to check physical connections first. This means cables and connections.

Have you tried swapping out the cables you are using for known good cables?

Have you made sure that polarities are correct on the case connections to the motherboard? Like the case power-on LED connection?
