592769 2007-09-19 11:29:00 You might want to try using a proper DVD player on your PC instead of WMP which I assume your using. winmacguy (3367)
592770 2007-09-19 11:37:00 I tried to free up some space on c drive and remember deleting realtek audio driver, could this be the cause? Sound was working ok before i did this silly move. malo (12639)
592771 2007-09-19 11:38:00 That sounds possible (no pun intended) ;) winmacguy (3367)
592772 2007-09-19 11:44:00 hey, how can i get sound back on. Error message when tried to play music on media player : media player cannot play this file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer.

Reinstall your realtek audio driver and you will be fine.
next time you see something called 'driver' be more hesitant about deleting it.

592774 2007-09-19 12:58:00 downloading realtek driver now saving it into program file. Will let you know how it goes.thanks. malo (12639)
592775 2007-09-19 13:04:00 i don't seem to have enough space on drive c for realtek downloading to complete. malo (12639)
592776 2007-09-19 13:13:00 Well, how much space do you have? Get CCleaner and it'll clean-up atleast 100MB.

Realtek drivers drive sound for a LOT of comps so please dont delete it next time.

592777 2007-09-19 13:20:00 You could go back a system restore point or two (if your using ME, XP or Vista). feersumendjinn (64)
