Would every OEM have to release their own updates? :thumbs: Exactly mate, thats what I was having a "dig" At, I know its MS, and it does seem a little strange that if the updates are available on the site, why they wont install. Sometimes Manufactures like HP will put out patches, but it can sometimes also be the same patch MS put out. Generally ? if MS makes a patch, unless otherwise stated usually its world wide. I'm sure many people have the same model of PDA so it wouldn't be an isolated case if theres a patch problem. From Experience sometimes if something doesn't work there is actually another reason why patches wont install espically if the patch is "meant" for the device - May not be the case here though - Dunno:confused: |

| 593833 | 2007-10-05 07:19:00 | Here's a link to an unofficial patch that worked for me running Pocket PC 2003 on an HP iPAQ. Even though I didn't have Second Edition it worked fine too. blogs.msdn.com I used the patch that linked to the Dell Axim, as it is simply a PDA, not a smartphone. Download the pdf, follow the instructions and link to the patch, then away you go. The only thing I did after the patch was change the clock time. All my appointments are now back in line. |
