| 593352 | 2007-09-23 03:39:00 | Pete is right Acer do load a lot of crap in the systems that slow it down BUT - There's a difference in what is Acer Crap and Acer drivers to make the Laptop work. The items That Pete suggested would be items that start up and "phone Home", or run like the Acer Updates. The best way to see whats crap and whats needed is to go into msconfig / startup,look through and you will see whats starting. Untick what you dont need one at a time and see what happens if alls well, then uninstall the related software. If it plays up - retick it and leave it alone. |
