| 593937 | 2007-09-22 06:50:00 | I thought the cd was bootable but when I tried it in the other puter it would not boot,so I think I should have tried this right at the start. Sorry for all the inconveniance I have caused. Its not an inconveniance - if the CD is a Genuine XP Pro CD it should boot, thats how they are designed. Does it look like This XP CD (www.mistywindow.com). Try cleaning it with a very soft tissue, making sure it doesn't scratch. |

Try giving it a good clean - may work - sounds like its pretty had it any way. Scratched CD's can sometimes not install right any way. |
