(my discs say 'fur iMac DV modelle' - for DV model) Do imacs not use serial numbers or whatever for their licensing? |

I can't access your link (I'm at work), but so long as they're also for a DV system then they should work on your computer. If they're not for a DV then they may (but probably won't) work on your DV. If you have enough RAM (choose the first option from the Apple menu to check) then your best bet will be OS X. It'll run with 128 MB (for 10.3 or earlier) or 256 MB (for 10.4) but I recommend having at least 512. |

Mostly sweet (though when I open Quicktime, for some reason the whole screen reverts back to German). Is there a way to fully format the harddrive before I re-install? Anyway, have also found a buyer for it (who would've taken it off my hands as is/was) |
