Any answers will be there for the NZ updates - full PDF instructions. Even if you select updates from the NZ site it redirects you to the USA - where the updates come from. Did you FULLY read the second Link I provided as well ? From that site - Q. How do I know if I need to update my device? A. You should update your Windows Mobile powered Pocket PC or smartphone if it uses any of the following operating systems: Windows Mobile 2003 Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition; or Windows Mobile 5.0 Windows Mobile 6 To see the operating system on a smartphone, click Start > Settings > More > About. On a Pocket PC, tap Start > Settings > System tab > About. |

| 593816 | 2007-09-22 04:58:00 | Also have a look at the very top of the fourm listings, a sticky called "Day Light Saving Patches", there may be a link to your requirements. | wainuitech (129) | ||

No, if you goto the website www.microsoft.com step 1 just give you the main page of the windows mobile website, so instead of looking at the "American website" then actually i will then be process on step 2.... after reading the terms and conditions, you will only see windows mobile 5.0 and 6.0 available for updates... there is no such updates for my windows mobile 2.0 second edition as shown here. www.microsoft.com refer back on that patch that you mention previously at microsoft website, I certainly can download that, but it is for the American version only, if you like to download that yourself, and set your PDA to next sunday (2am), the clock on your PDA won't change at all.... well please let me know what is your situation in regards about your PDA... |

| 593818 | 2007-09-22 22:36:00 | Personally I don't have a PDA - had one a while back, but hardly used it, so I sold it- the links provided as you will see are from Microsoft - All updates are requested from MS and then can reroutered from different servers around the world. If you go to the MS NZ Site and search for updates/patches you get redirected to the US. The bottom link you provided, which I know is the same place I provided - tells you how to do it.- Thats directly from MS, it's quite long but does tell you every thing. Contact Microsoft and ask them for the location of the NZ patch & they will say use windows update service. I have looked and the patch number from the USA Site for XP Pro which is KB933360 - it came through a several days ago from the USA windows update - my clock is fine. Regarding the putting forward of the clock I did it via the XP Pro and the dates /time held perfectly. I know it not the PDA, but the patches are from the USA. |
