593097 2007-09-20 00:24:00 In Word 2003, I want to change the spell check language to English Australia. Same for Outlook. Outlook has the editor as Word ( Office 2003 ) so same spell check language applies to that also.
So I should change it in Word and make English Australia the default ? Correct.

I tried this thru programs but it just wont hold the default.
When I start a new word document it is still English US.
Any ideas thanks.

593098 2007-09-20 00:52:00 You could try Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options. Scouse (83)

593100 2007-09-20 02:04:00 All is fine in those 2 areas it shows English Aust but it does not seem to hold it. When u open a new word doc it still shows English US. bruciebear (1478)
593101 2007-09-20 08:05:00 Australian English settings generally default to USA English spelling!
You need to set the spell checker to U K English and make it the default setting. Otherwise you will have your spelling 'corrected' to American English.
