| 594866 | 2007-09-25 10:28:00 | Bought a new Belkin router last Thursday and connected it up. Booted up computer this evening and a message comes up telling me I have 3 days to activate it. It wouldn't be so bad, if I didn't have to ring up and speak to someone in India who doesn't speak proper english to activate it. :( | Trev (427) | ||

| 594868 | 2007-09-25 11:01:00 | I assume you are talking about XP activation, if so call MS 0800 676 334, option 2. As Video Guy said, if you can't understand them, politly ask for someone who speaks better english. If you try first thing in the Morning I find you often get redirected off to the states. What I'd like to know whats the New router got to do with XP activation ? |

| 594873 | 2007-09-25 21:53:00 | Reactivated it. This time it was differant, I spoke to a computer voice all the time. I read them my code and then it read a new code back to me. Useally after I have put all the numbers in and click next I use to get an error message or something like that, and had to speak to a real person for activation. This is due to the fact that I have activated Windows to many times. :) |
