| 594329 | 2007-10-03 20:22:00 | Problem solved, All PC's will need to have their MTU's changed to 1472 in order to connect to the internet For Win2K or WinXP: Download this, select the correct network adapter, and change it's ( probably non-existent ) MTU value to 1472 )www.dslreports.com For Vista run the command prompt under admin and then type the following command in. netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "Local Area Connection" mtu=1472 store=persistent Assuming that "Local Area Connection" is the ethernet adapter you are using to connect to your router etc For Linux, nice and easy "ifconfig eth1 mtu=1472" |

| 594331 | 2007-10-03 21:24:00 | tried that linux command and spits out mtu=1472: Unknown host ifconfig: `--help' gives usage information. ok fixed. ran sudo ifconfig eth0 mtu 1472 and it seems to have done something, as no errors came back. |
