| 594585 | 2007-09-28 00:08:00 | Some IPS offer plans of FS up and down with a 5 or 6gb cap for about $50 a month, and you can buy extra bandwidth say like 10gb for $10 if you need it. :) you speak of SLingshot there. when they have nDSL up and running i will be assesing their plans and going with them. i think they will be bringing back an unlimited plan as well. Slingshot's best current plan is FS up/down 6GB cap, but if you need it you can buy an extra 50GB for $40 |

| 594587 | 2007-09-28 05:02:00 | I am with Xnet FS down/128 up and self imposed 10GB limit (which I sometimes extend) and I would recommend them to anyone.' :2cents: |

| 594590 | 2007-09-30 04:29:00 | I FINALLY joined the 21st century on Friday lol.. Rang Xnet last Mon/Tue. Heard back from Xnet Thur, when it had been activated, got the modem on Thur. Connected Friday. Downloaded bout 2 GB so far since Friday, and it'll get reset Monday lol. That'll be like a $2-3 bill for the first bill lol Was going to go BB with Ihug. BUT when I heard it was 99 bucks to connect! Well, that was the end of that. I killed Ihug, and Telecom for the line I had on Friday, saved me a bit of money about $71. That'll go towards Xnet. Got them to put ADSL on my flatmates line. I'm on River / 15 GB a mth at the mo. $50 max before I go down in speed. Doubt I'll get anywhere near this tho, as I'm not in P2P / video conferencing, bittorents, Using Itunes to pay for MP3's etc. Just the normal updates, a few downloads, browsing / IRC. |
