595932 2007-09-28 06:03:00 Right well all my bits arrived this morning just in time for the weekend, except the case!! :angry

Anyways, I had a look at the PSU I got, and its got 500w/620w on it, I bought it under the impression it was 620w.

This is a quick rundown of my system, is the PSU gonna be good enough?

C2Duo 2.66ghz
2GB 800 DDR2
PK5
2x Seagate 320GB
8800GTS 320

Ill be playing a fair few games, and last thing I need is the PSU folding under pressure!

TIA guys

595934 2007-09-28 06:40:00 I would say that 620W would be more than enough to run that system without any pressure. So jealous of it though:D beeswax34 (63)

You made an excellent choice of power supply and it will be AMPLE for your computer.

595937 2007-09-28 07:11:00 I think it has 500w/620w on the box as it is a generic box they use for both of those power supplies.
The sticker at the bottom right says 620W and you can have a look on the PSU itself as it will give the wattage as well.

Nice choice

595938 2007-09-28 08:45:00 Wow thats awesome . I was hoping it wasnt something like, a 500w power supply, with a 620w peak or something . . You know how with speakers they can be 1500w PMPO, but only 125w RMS, which is the normal rating system . .

Sounds like i'll be fine though . .

Thanks again! :D

595940 2007-09-28 09:32:00 The important bit is that red sticker at the top left. The one that says Enermax.

Excellent choice.
