| 595942 | 2007-09-28 04:59:00 | I have a Dell inspiron 9300 with Vista and i just got an 7-pin s-video to rca, but when connect the Tv i get no color or some weird green n red shades, yes i triple checked settings..its on b/pal ect. any ideas ? |

For all you guys who have same issues try this: After intense search on web i found this solution, what happens with this 7-pin s-video basicly 3 out of 7 pins are useless, so i did some surgery. 1. From your male 7-pin s-video connector connect only 2 of them (soldering required hehe) to the RCA center pin (the 2 pins to connect are the left and the right on the top where is 3 pins) 2. From the bottom row where are 4 pins connect only the far left and the far right to the ground of the RCA. Thats it..worked fine with colors. to help you (where X you connect) X0X = CONNECT THOSE "X" to center pin of RCA X00X = CONNECT THOSE "X" to ground of RCA |
