| 595679 | 2007-09-27 11:05:00 | Reinstalling XP Pro to this Toshiba Notebook Tecra A3X Model No: PTA3XA-00w002. Downloaded all the drivers from Toshiba Australia but encountered 2 problems when installing the drivers: 1. Installation halted half-way when installing the Display driver 2. Can't find the LAN driver from Toshiba Australia. Any suggestions? |

I managed to restore the OS from the HDD's recovery partition. Initially, I couldn't perform the recovery process because the HDD has been partitioned into C: & D:. The recovery process went smoothly when the D: partition is removed! |

Although there seems to be one driver I cant find Intel 82801FBM LPC Interface Controller The intel chipset id utilty says it's a Chipset Component I/O Controller: Intel82801FBM I/O controller hub (ICH6M) and it is showing in the device manager as an unknown device I have been all night at the Intel site and installed chipset id util and intel INF update that I THINK is the correct one but still no joy Thanks in advance for any suggestions :help: :badpc: :dogeye: |
