Yes it does use ads, but I have never seen any popups or such, except for drilling down to get the file that you need. The ads are just what appears on the actual page. No pop ups. Not sure to the legality of it all but for securing your original CD/DVD games it is ideal, as you do not have to go hunting for the game to be able to play it. |

Hey! Me quoting me! Is that allowed? :p I didn't mention that the Alcohol 52% version only allows 6 CD images. Alcohol 120% goes up to 31 virtual drives. (according to their site) plus the ability to write to only two drives at the same time for the trial version as apposed to 31 virtual drives OMG! How many quotes? :eek: Demonhunter, if your still 'out there'? I know this is off this thread, but your suggestion just startup a virtual machine, go do all your dodgey browsing/downloading, and then who cares if you get spyware etc...? Adrain Easiest way is probably to download VirtualPC 2007 (www.microsoft.com) (free) then install the same copy of Windows that your running. (Or another one, whatever suits you) Copy off the virtual hard disk file and keep it in a safe place, then if you get infected, delete the infected virtual hard disk file, and copy the good one back in. Easy as. |
