| 595689 | 2007-10-10 19:52:00 | Hi Fella's I just happen to be rebuilding a Tecra A3x too and I am really appreciating these post's -- very helpful. Although there seems to be one driver I cant find Intel 82801FBM LPC Interface Controller The intel chipset id utilty says it's a Chipset Component I/O Controller: Intel82801FBM I/O controller hub (ICH6M) and it is showing in the device manager as an unknown device I have been all night at the Intel site and installed chipset id util and intel INF update that I THINK is the correct one but still no joy Thanks in advance for any suggestions :help: :badpc: :dogeye: Have you tried to restore th OS from the HDD recovery partition? It saves lots of time and hassle. To recover from HDD, do the following: While Holding down 0 (zero) key , Turn on Notebook, follow on-screen instructions to complete the restoration. Good luck |
