| 595907 | 2007-09-28 04:28:00 | I got lots of Nero programs when I bought my PC. Only really use Nero Express however - it is version 6.6.1.4. Occasionally have some problems which may or may not be connected with that version. Thought therefore I would see whether I could get a more up-to-date version. Did an internet search and could not sort out what I should do as so much confusing etc info out there. One possibility seems to be from www.oldversion.com which has Nero Ultra Edition 7.5.1.1. However this may well be overkill as all I want to do is to copy files as backups from my hard drive to DVD. Also, occasionally to copy a CD. What version of Nero Express should I use please and where do I get it from ? Preferably free but willing to buy (so long as it is not a full suite, which I would mostly not use). :help: Misty :) |

Most things seem fine - I have opened letters and photos from the CD and no problems there. However re my emails CDCheck seems to take over and I cannot look at them because my trial period has expired. Nevertheless I did not ask CDCheck to become involved - it just seems to have decided to do that. :illogical Anyway that is not a problem connected with cdburnerxp so it looks like I need to either pay for CDCheck or get rid of it. Probably the latter. Thanks again Misty  |
