| 596089 | 2007-09-29 01:35:00 | I purchased a couple of new fash drives and card readers only to find that when I plug them into my PC (HP6060A) it asks for a driver to be installed. According to the info that came with the gadgets they should work fine on Vista without installing a driver. and no disc came with them either. They all work fine on a diferent PC running Windows 2000. Microsoft do not want to help. Any suggestions from anyone - help |

| 596091 | 2007-09-29 02:41:00 | Also found this in another forum. Cant vouch if it will work but it wont hurt. [Quote] OK, here's the solution! I found it in the MS Vista newsgroups. When Vista asks for the drivers, point the OS to the C:\Windows folder and to include subfolders. Vista will find the drivers in a few seconds.[End] if that doesn't work see if This page From HP (h10025.www1.hp.com) is any better. |
