596346 2007-09-30 05:40:00 Go here (www.microsoft.com)
That doesn't really help. I will have to sort out each update to see if they are what I want. Thanks though.

I'm looking if MS has some sort of Vista update package I could download that includes all updates up until now. Then I can select which ones I want after I've reinstalled Vista.

Yeah I guess I'll have to do that.

High speed? Bleh, still with the devil's Go Large. Don't have the time to change ISP.

Oh, and how many updates were there? Over 100, including Defender updates?

Thanks Wainui and Speedy.

596349 2007-09-30 05:55:00 What version of Vista have you got? x32 or x64??

I've got 40 updates (dont know if this is all of them), for x32 (according to my computer about 61mb), and about 35 for x64 (62.2mb).

Even tho I dont have / use Vista, I have the updates,

Theyre both around 63 mb zipped.

X86 ;) (32bit)

I just saw Installed Updates on my PC and it shows I've installed 44 updates.

Well, configuring and installing them all at once will take a looooooong time at startup.

Actually theyre pretty small. The smallest file is 386k, the biggest 10 mb.

596354 2007-09-30 06:12:00 Only 10MB? I think I downloaded some kind of driver for 7900GTX and it was 50.3MB.

Thanks for the offer Speedy - don't want to bother you anymore than I already have. Besides, I'll just set up the whole thing - installing programs, tweaking, updating etc in half a day. I think I can juggle that and studying in a day.
