However the choice to buy has now been taken out of my hands, it sold this afternoon to someone else who saw the ad, asked no relevant questions about it regarding the transmission flush and the earlier recall of the aircon unit, like I did. I was prepared to sign up for it tomorrow, after being informed of the known problems, plus the high ks of course. Them's the breaks, hopefully for the buyers not literally. But am a little disappointed that I wasn't given first option. The dealer phoned and said he would watch out for other similar deals for me. Meanwhile, I still have my car and the money is still in my bank. So, no worries, there will always be another car..... Not kidding some of my extended family members have done so to buy - View 10000's vehicles along Great South Road from Takanini to Greenlane. Massive wholesaler's (where private seller/importers sell vehicles on a yard). Also all major manufacturer's condensed within Manukau. Many yards have twin yards further north - city bound (New Market) to North shore. One yard I visited in Mt Wellington had 100's and 100's of cars - as far as the eye can see. They had 2 other yards within Auckland. Take a peep - Manukau yards - all relatively close to one another: Park 'n Sell (manukau-parknsell.co.nz) - Budget Cars (www.budgetcarsales.co.nz/)- Enterprise Cars (https:) - Pierce Brothers (www.pearcebrothers.co.nz/) (3 yards) - Wholesale Cars (http:) - Wholesale Auto's (wholesaleautos.co.nz/) - Vehicle Direct... (http:) And...Honda NZ and their Used Vehicles (www.hondaused.co.nz) - also based in Manukau Central Those are just some within Manukau Central - I drive past most of them daily - and they light up the peripheral Business district at night time. Saturation of for sale vehicles - and adjacent motels, shopping malls, retail centers, food courts, bars, beaches, and of cause too many people.... |
