| 1413966 | 2016-01-05 22:25:00 | Most of what's discussed "I think" suits because it's just us - i.e. we are all mostly middle aged and beyond (Please don't mean any offence of our ages or lifestyles or family situation): Few kids in our care, we probably don't really converse that much (per call and infrequently), and so unlikely to ever use up any landline allocated minutes. Hence mobile plans/limited smart use would suit us. We are the wiser - right? Not active family - like me with girls - whom chat and chat, and text, and Facebook, etc. So mobile phones, their plan/prepaid costs, upgrades, won't work economically with young/teenage middle sized female garrulous families. Also their female cousins on the other end of landline. Unless if set up bulk family plan or nominated no.'s - but generally don't work with teen folk - as they change sims, landlines (moving flats), move overseas). Really as we get on, flexible choices might become apparent, for those who's kids have left home. Hence landline use/cost associated BB, Mobile, becomes the focus...to save...or to get more....than we need sometimes. Also i reckon I got a deal from Spark 2 years ago - which was not advertised - because I think of my loyalty - over 30 years with a landline and with timely payments. They instantly gave me a choice to book up a mid priced phone over 1 - 3 years, which at the time could not be done - as advertised. Perhaps telco's should offer royalties, bonuses, etc for long term landline use. |
