Yup, if you ignore the allegorical claims of a patriarchal society that seeks to explain an order of life, and substitute all our man made supplicant titles we bestow, with the simple concept of a "life force" that becomes I believe more acceptable. Even Freemasonry's "Architect" of the universe becomes acceptable, and was the cause of much antagonism between them and the established church with its self serving political machinations. I look out the window and I don't see just grass, some yuccas, and a lemon tree, I see evidence of life - things growing, teeming countless billions of cells each in their own order of symbiosis. And it's not too difficult to imagine some basic engineering principles that made it possible. [WalOne interrupts his philosophical revery to shout at the next door Siamese who has taken to stretching our own symbiotic relationship too far by leaving a visiting card on the lawn] :) |
